This year on Halloween we are also Trick or Treating at American Lutheran Homes. ALH is a Nursing Home that we have been visiting for many years now. The Activites Director and Ms. Jane have been very busy planning a fun filled morning for us. We will wear our costumes & Trick or Treat for residents at the doors in their rooms.
We have been visiting ALH, going on picnics & even on some field trips with them. This year we met them at the Green House & had many picnics at the park with them. We go there to dye eggs at Easter time & enjoy an easter egg hunt in their patio area. The school age children have worked very hard at putting a very large garden in the patio area. For the second year now we have tended to that garden and replanted things that needed it. We have developed a very strong realtionship with the "Grandma's & Grandpa's" at ALH and hope to continue this for a very long time.
This year Halloween will be celebrated on Monday, October 31st. Our Trick or Treating around the neighborhood to the area businesses will be starting at 2:45 pm & our full filled activites will end at 5:00 pm. Please remember to send your child's costume!

3:00 Purple & Blue Classrooms
3:15 Green & Red Classrooms
All Parents are WELCOME to join their children as always.
In a continuing effort to lead by example for the children in our care, Sunshine Learning Center has moved to the use of cloth napkins for breakfast and snack each day. This single change prevents more than 500 napkins from going into trash cans every week.
